About
I'm a senior front-end engineer with six years of experience building products where performance and reliability aren't nice-to-haves. They're the job. My work sits at the intersection of scalable front-end architecture, measurable performance, and the emerging craft of AI-assisted engineering.
Currently, I work on finance products at A.P. Moller-Maersk, where I lead front-end initiatives across TypeScript and Vue codebases: driving architecture decisions, optimising rendering performance, and building the testing and observability practices that keep quality high as teams scale.
Beyond feature work, I design the workflows engineers work inside. I've built agentic pipelines on the Anthropic API that automate schema synchronisation, codebase reviews and documentation, and I'm currently building a Claude Code plugin that gives engineers a tailored onboarding journey through any codebase.
Outside of work you'll find me at karate practice, cooking, or somewhere between Copenhagen and the Italian coast I grew up on.
Experience
2024 - Present
Lead front-end architecture and performance on finance products serving customers of the world's largest integrated logistics company. Drove a rendering overhaul that cut initial load by 840ms, champion AI-assisted engineering practices across teams, and mentor engineers on testing and performance culture.
2021 - 2024
Sole maintainer of the front-end ecosystem behind Maersk's customer subscription platform, where customers subscribe to the shipment events that matter to them and receive notifications they can act on. Owned everything from the Vue applications and form validation architecture to the MJML email pipeline, compiled to HTML and delivered through SendGrid templates.
2020 - 2021
Delivered front-end work across high-traffic client projects, including FIFA.com, FIFA+ and Mit.dk, Denmark's national digital post platform built with React Native and Redux.
Selected work
Re-architected data-heavy financial views with TanStack virtualization, profiled and validated in production. Faster loads for every customer, on every visit.
A set of specialised agents that pull a Jira ticket, extract its intent, scope and acceptance criteria, and hand structured context to AI-assisted development. Ticket to implementation as a pipeline, not a copy-paste ritual.
A Claude Code plugin that generates a tailored onboarding journey through any codebase: adaptive lessons grounded in the real code, built on retrieval practice rather than passive reading. Not public yet. Watch this space.
A GitHub Actions pipeline built on the Anthropic API that keeps OpenAPI schemas, types and docs in sync automatically, removing an entire class of drift bugs before they ever reach review.
Packaged an AI-assisted code review pipeline and rolled it out beyond my own team, codifying review standards into automation other engineers actually adopted.
